The above statement in its current context would sound like a praise for few people who we see as political icons .... and i wish the praise was true. Not just Mahatma Gandhi but even Bhagat Singh would have been the happiest souls in the heavenly abode of god.
A country which , by my ability to forecast , will be the greatest democracy and economic power of the world in the future to come, is time and again held at ransom by these "political individuals".
They fuel the hatred in peoples heart when they could have guided them for the betterment of the society. They make the needy fight with each other , portraying that the needs of the people conflict ( when actually the do not) and the only way to resolve it is to fight as the cavemen did...where are we destined to go this way to moon or back to the caves?
West Bengal , the rich heritage of the state is second to none, it mints out the most remarkable liberal arts talent that India has seen, yet the state is deprived of the path to stand tall when it comes to progress......what is the reason? who is responsible? what satisfaction will it give us even of we answered these questions correctly ? Until we realize the fact that some "lady" who herself had no clear objective of what the state wants, what the poor and needy people of the state needed, stood up to fight for the rights of them. What did the state gain ..."NOTHING".. it lost what could have been a leap , a giant leap into the industrial landscape that the state would have taken. A mass which trusted their leader , a mass with such a power that one of the greatest companies of our country could not stand their opposition, was mislead to the point that they were left with nothing but a few suicides ( thankfully) , an unusable stretch of land and "UNEMPLOYMENT".......
This doesn't end here.....Maharasthra on the other end is witnessing an entirely different kind of hate campaign led by an influential political individual and his party. When we are trying to eliminate wars between the countries, this gentlemen has given us the wars of the states , I wish i could say it on his face that "Sir this is INDIA not RUSSIA."....We talk of unity across nations...and we cant unite among the states of the country, shame on us. Tamils vs Kannadigas / Marathi vs Bihari / Hindi Speaking vs Non HindiSpeaking / Hindu Values vs Non Hindu Values......No this is not a match fixture of IPL or NHL, this is the hatred fixture which exist in our country and is time and again fueled to the most aggressive levels by selfish individuals for their political ( which automatically translates to financial) gains. Have these individuals ever asked their kids what they want ? and thought how can their kids become a global individual keeping their head high above in this world of great competitions? . Maharashtra which hosts the financial capital of this country will die a slow death of such hate campaigns if this doesn't stop here. The most ridiculous part of this that when the speakers of this party appeared on various national news channel none had one view point of why such a hate campaign has been fueled. One said its the employment which is the issue , other said its the issue of preserving the Marathi culture, the other came forward saying that its the issue of language in which the exam papers are not printed......."PATHETIC" is only what can be labeled on such people who are misleading the masses for making people thristy for each others blood.
Their is a long list of what "the great leaders" , across the states of our country ,have done which has brought nothing but social epidemics to these states and their people , these leaders have plagued the society with diseases which they can use to for their own "political" advantages
I did want to write my viewpoint on this issue , of what happened in Maharahstra/West Bengal was wrong or right, but i don't want to since its no point in debating if no one is implementing it.
I don't want to target an individual or political organization....the fame thirsty news channel and individuals are already doing so.....All I want to put down is that when "you" have the power to lead the masses ...why can't you lead them for the benefits of the nation , which in turn brings loads of benefits for them. "You" have that amazingly sharp ability to fuel the thoughts of the people and gather their energy ....then why can't you be a "wave-guide" which translates the energy of the masses for the benefits of them and for the benefits of the generation to come.....
For those who are the "masses" .. follow the leader who talks of now to resolves the future ....fuel that movement which starts now and revolutionizes the future.....blind faith is good in GOD not in human beings......before you stand for a "cause", understand it clearly....if someone shows you heads on the coin would ask you to bet would you not first see if the coin has tails on it? Before betting your life , your future on the decisions taken by "one political individual" listen what has never been told to you....understand what was the other side which was never talked about by such individuals.......
We the masses have the power to transform our future and create the best of this nation.....start "TRANSFORMING IT NOW"
